Dear Lilly,

Ugh - I don't like when girls try to "punish" each other. I want you, as hard as it might be, to not show her you are sad. Be sad at home when you're alone, that's fine - or with people you trust. But this girl seems to enjoy hurting you when you're down. So put on a huge show of confidence. Show her you are a strong, confident girl who is NOT bothered by her behavior. Make like you're having a great time!

She will probably get confused at first, then worried that you seem to be having all the fun without her. My bet is she'll come running back to you. Whenever someone is in any way bullying you - you just get stronger (even if you don't feel it!). Because people who get mean often get meaner if they see a person seems weak.

So be strong, Lilly! You are fabulous, confident and popular. People are lucky to have you as a friend because you're such a great person. Tell yourself this until you believe it and it will show on the outside, I promise you!

My Friend and I just got in a fight because she tried to tell me who I should be friends with!!!!!! Sometimes she's nice and other times she's sooooooooooooooooo mean!! What should I do?!?!?!?!? P.S. Hey Chloe,

The most important thing is not to show her you're too upset. Be cool, like you're all amused and her efforts aren't getting anywhere. Like you're above all that nonsense - you know what I mean?

If you want to be an actress -- take tons of acting classes and try to act in plays at school and outside of school.

Hmm. That would certainly be upsetting. I would not get insecure or needy about it. When she says/does something mean, I would look amused and surprised and wonder out loud why she would bother to do such a thing to you. In other words, make it about her NOT about you.
